Detailed Itinerary: Your Day-by-Day Adventure

Day 1: Arrival in Gangotri (10,300 ft): Your journey begins as you arrive in the holy town of Gangotri, the base camp for the trek. Spend the day acclimatizing to the altitude, exploring the revered Gangotri Temple, and soaking in the spiritual ambiance of this sacred place.

Day 2: Gangotri to Bhojbasa (12,440 ft): The trek officially starts today! We’ll journey 14 km from Gangotri to Bhojbasa, passing through the picturesque Chirbasa. The trail winds alongside the Bhagirathi River, offering stunning views of the surrounding peaks. We will set up camp in the beautiful meadows of Bhojbasa for the night.

Day 3: Bhojbasa to Tapovan via Gaumukh (14,600 ft): Today is the most awaited day of the trek. We will hike from Bhojbasa to the sacred site of Gaumukh, the source of the Ganga. After spending some time at this holy spot, we will continue our trek for about 5-6 km to the high-altitude meadow of Tapovan. The challenging climb will reward you with breathtaking, close-up views of Mt. Shivling.

Day 4: Tapovan to Bhojbasa or Chirbasa (Depends on situation): Wake up to a glorious sunrise over the Himalayas. After breakfast, we will start our descent back to Chirbasa. The 8-10 km trek will take you through the familiar yet beautiful landscape, offering a different perspective of the mountains.

Day 5: Chirbasa to Gangotri: Today, we will trek back to Gangotri, concluding our incredible journey. After reaching Gangotri, you can explore the local market or relax by the river. Our services will end here.
