Detailed Itinerary for Your Kedartal Adventure
Day 1: Arrival in Gangotri (11,204 ft): Your journey begins with a scenic 10-12 hour drive from Dehradun to the sacred town of Gangotri. We will arrange for your transport from Dehradun Railway Station at 6:00 AM. In the evening, you can witness the mesmerizing Ganga Aarti at the Gangotri Temple.
Day 2: Gangotri (10,055 ft) to Bhoj Kharak (12,772 ft): The trek officially starts today with a 9 km trek to Bhoj Kharak. The trail takes you through a dense forest of birch trees and offers stunning views of the Kedar Ganga river.
Day 3: Bhoj Kharak (12,772 ft) to Kedar Kharak (14,238 ft): Today’s trek is a shorter but challenging 4.25 km walk over rugged terrain. As you ascend, you’ll be rewarded with panoramic views of the surrounding Himalayan peaks. Kedar Kharak is a beautiful high-altitude meadow that serves as our campsite.
Day 4: Kedar Kharak (14,238 ft) to Kedartal (15,485 ft) and back: The most awaited day of the trek. A steep and rocky 8 km round trip takes you to the pristine Kedartal lake. Spend time soaking in the beauty of the lake and the reflection of Thalaysagar Peak in its emerald waters before heading back to Kedar Kharak.
Day 5: Kedar Kharak (14,238 ft) to Gangotri (11,204 ft): Descend 11 km back to Gangotri. This will be a long day of trekking, but the trail is mostly downhill. Celebrate the successful completion of your trek in the evening.
Day 6: Departure from Gangotri: After breakfast, you will depart for Dehradun. Expect to reach Dehradun between 6:00 PM and 7:00 PM.

- Packing Essentials: Pack warm layers, woolen socks, gloves, a cap, sunscreen, and a reusable water bottle. It is also advisable to carry your own trekking pole and basic utensils.
During the Trek:
